Carl first fell in love with food and nutrition science at a young age reading the side panel of cereal boxes before elementary school. Along the way to becoming a Dietitian he worked numerous jobs including dish washing, school foodservice, and as a food inspector among many others. Carl is deeply passionate about nutrition education and philanthropy. He has served on the Board of Directors for a nutrition related non-profit and stays active with various volunteer work. Carl has spent over a decade in the military serving in various roles to include managing food operations in a large hospital, managing an outpatient nutrition clinic and providing inpatient nutrition services. When he's not 'talking shop' you can find him playing soccer or relaxing in a hammock.
Fun Fact: As a kid, Carl interviewed Buzz Aldrin for a Stamp Collecting newspaper.
